ABOUT THE ARTIST

“​​Rebecca is an avid performing violist and dedicated teacher.  She enjoys performing both solo and chamber music repertoire, but is also an enthusiastic scholar who is passionate about music theory and music history. Rebecca's doctoral area of study focused on the influence of folk music in classical viola repertoire, and she is always excited to explore music from other cultures. In addition to viola, Rebecca has also persued studies in the Chinese erhu and Texas fiddle."
